Thought about Georgian NBG decision
There is single reason for such “diversification” – to prepare country for existence under sanctions a-la Iran, with complete detachment from the US and EU finances, and some tricks like crypto and yuan as workarounds.
But to GD I can remind that if you don’t follow orders from Mordor and return to path of EU membership, you don’t need to use this financial workarounds and financial brainf*ckery.

Facebook will punish you
Yes, facebook will punish you for attempt to sign up.
Especially if you selected to sign up without mobile phone number.
And my brand new account without phone number has been suspended like within hour after creation.
They required video selfie to prove me I am not a robot.
I guess it is possible to trick this if you need to, when you have “state actor” scale of resources.
But even after that I got email scream from FB they decided to block my account and demand to verify it. But I can’t do anythng about that, nor “prove I don’t want to use the
I created it because I live in Georgia country where like 99.99% people use this just to communicate via FB messenger, and for insta to communicate with local businesses which are using that either as messaging platform at their websites or they use insta as storefront.
Sometimes even to schedule an appointment to a medical clinic without waiting for hour on call (old-fashioned approach)may require communication via FB messenger.
PS: It finally accepted my video selfie.
I feel like every new accounts go through something like this.

Path forward for Georgia

Georgia, the most persistent civic resistance in contemporary Europe, needs one key ingredient — a viable political alternative. In the absence of a dominant, that means some form of unity among democratic parties. Such an alternative would swing the process in several ways: 🧵
1. Currently, most average Georgians are increasingly dismissive of the regime but most people have the feeling that their resource and sacrifice today would be just a shot in the air, & it would not flow into the common flow of victory. They don’t feel any backing protection; 2/
2. The elites need somewhere to defect to. Once they feel the growing pressure of international isolation and financial depletion, who would they talk to, a bunch of parties with no clear dominant or a consolidated alternative platform? 3/
3. Whenever I talk with the diaspora, they do want to fund the resistance, but are confused about whom to transfer the funds. Once they just get a “menu” of democratic parties, they often hesitate, since they don’t have much intimate trust towards any one. 4/
On an international level, I don’t believe the Georgian Dream could fully reverse legitimacy and isolation problem, but it’s much easier to impose sanctions and arrange high-level diplomatic meetings when there’s a “government-in-waiting.” 5/
I do believe in our victory, but the existence of a viable, unified alternative would greatly decide on whether it’s a protracted and grueling process or whether the victory is rather quick and civilized. 6/
And it’s not like international window of opportunities such as the EU integration could wait forever. This is my position as well as party Droa’s position, and we spare no effort to make this happen. 7/7.

I heard it is some Polish mix of folklore created with single purpose to fry brains of nazi invaders into overboiled spagetti.
Who know more about that?
Now talking some unspeakable last or first name can be a form of protest to bring a bit of revenge towards the state agencies employees and other members of repressive apparatus.

Wondering on a possibility
I have an idea for an image, which I could use as background for the site header or other decorative background for the blog. I thought about something like this:
cinematographic image of anthropomorphic cat who is a great taijiquan master, standing in the Single Whip stance in the middle of calm forest, surrounded by powerful energies and light of full moon shining in the sky.
And if possible, angle of view should be so that both the main character should be in the center of attention, while the full Moon should be visible, either directly, or as reflection in a river or lake, or even a big bowl, puddle, or other water in the scene.
Sadly I am lack the drawing of the skills, literally any of them.
You can say that I should use some image generator, e. g. Mistral. But I don’t want do so. I want an alive soul touch on the image.
It can be sketch, if it is possible to express the details of this scene this way, or photographic/cinematographic image.
But I don’t sure whether any alive master of drawing or digital imaging would be interested in doing something like that, or how much an artist would ask for this work.

Today bumped into unexpected quote
According to Wikiquote Mikhail Gorbachev said this:

This is from: “Nature Is My God” – interview with Fred Matser in Resurgence No. 184 (September-October 1997)
But we must not be surprised and stay cautious before praising him for saying these words.
Because as a skilled member of Commmunist Party of Soviet Union, the single party allowed there most of USSR existence, Gorbachev have to get a big experience on saying not what he thinks, otherwise he would not become member of CPSU, and even its Secretary General, “top boss”.
So, even if Gorbachev said this, it does not mean he believed in this.
Tbilisi 1989. Baku 1990. Vilnius 1991. There are other moments of USSR collapse process when Gorbachev approved usage of brutal force against peaceful demonstrations or at least did not explicitly forbid it, what was enough to happen.
So either these words from quote have been said as part of empty PR trick, or he has quite twisted understanding of how Nature exists and “works”. The latter is quite possible, as for dictators it is common to see world as something as endless struggle, non-stop brutal violence and permanent fight for survival and nothing else.
Either you, either them. “Zero-sum game”. And all that bloody crap. Yes, that “You should strike first” (Бить надо первым) by said by putin, also from this direction of thought.
It is impossible to completely deny such component of nature, but making it so prominent of your worldview it ends up with multiple bloodbaths over and over – this eliminate the spirit and meaning of that quote being discussed.
Yes, Gorbachev said that trees are his temple. But to which god(s) Gorbachev prayed there? To some bloodthirsty one(s), for sure.

For now I write mostly about my overall experience of using WordPress and all these plugins for Fediverse blogging.
But hope I will get a chance to write on more interesting topics, which would mean I finally sorted out all issues or at least enough bugs fixed and improvements made to stop worry about the issues and start finally to write something.
