Something is off with these apps for witches

Lately I experienced some problems with the Wicca app. So I tried to use the Moonly.

But now I feel that these both apps suspiciously too much promote “healthy lifestyle”, suggest to keep “sleep regime”, or even “detoxification” or fasting – in some manner that is too aggressive, too intense way for me.

Moonly in their material seems to be tailored to people who practice Hindu religion and related traditions. Some of their legends can be interesting, but I don’t want to convert to Hinduism.

Both Moonly and Wicca content can end up mentioning some new-age stuff that is completely irrelevant to me like “high vibrations”.

There are no historically proven any sort of own astrology among ancient Ukrainians in general or Don Cossaks in particular, or even Scythians, or Russians, or even among Poland ancient tribes. So I don’t need these parts of all these apps like Moonly.

Wicca app astrological recommendations can mention something like Pilates or gym which is not relevant to me, because when I went there for some time, I went there regularly, first 3-4 times per week, later 3 times per week, I went there for specific purpose and I think I achieved it.

Have to note that according to my overall experience, all daily horoscopes are total mismatch to my reality, especially if day surely will require plenty of work to do, while horoscope recommend to meditate and to be alone for some time (for married people this is especially relevant, haha!). Or suggestion to a man who used to have 1 set of clothing per season, and 2 sets of in-house clothing like sweatpants, and all this either black or some dark gray or blue or “standard jeans” colors, it is especially funny was to read the recommendation to wear yellow color. I was like “aha! Now I see why some people buy 10-20 clothing sets! But this is not for me!”.

Same thing happens with advice to take a bath with sea salt (or any another bath in general). We don’t have bath in our cute compact apartment and our small bathroom combined with restroom.

When it goes to astrological signs, overall matches of personal traits are best of all for….. African astrology! I am an Ancestor there. Per sign traits matched the best for me, my beloved wife, and one our friend whose birth date we were able to recall. We compared matches for Western astrology, Druids, African astrology, and now – the Vedic astrology (as it represented by Moonly).

Another Moonly issue, or even bug, I would say, is quite strange picks for guided meditations. I picked morning forest meditation there and at some point it started to give some sound garbage like binaural bits that simply cause not relaxation but sense of anxiety or unease for me.

So I guess I better use this tactic:

    1. Switch to Moon Phase Calendar that is simply shows current moon phase on widget, and tropical sign at the app detailed view. May change app to other simple app like that, if it will start to show too much ads.
    2. Use my Slavic Legends deck instead of AI slop “tarot” part of app like Moonly.
    3. Keep using Insight Timer app for meditation with various nature sounds.
    4. If I will see a dream (what happens rarely), I better try to write it down to a notebook and to interpret dream symbolism myself.
    5. My personal practice does not depend on detailed astrology like precise natal charts. So I just don’t need things like that.

But it was curious to try all these features of Moonly.
