Once upon a time I was stressed about work too much and as usual, when this happens, I was in “elevated skepticism” mode.
I was cooking dinner at that moment, when it happened, something not on oven but in microwave, and that matters, you will see soon.
My beautiful wife was reading me some imageboard thread about signs or a story about paranormal activity, can’t recall today exactly, but remember approximate topic.
I asked in a grim tone “What will happen if I will ignore the signs?!” And my wife replied “You will get a warning from the occult scien…” and than I turned too quickly to Her to reply and my hand pushed saucepan which crashed with loud noise from the kitchen stove to the floor. Lucky that saucepan was empty.
For me today this is a story not only about how quick Universe can respond to questions.
This also is reminder of how important to be present in current moment and fully be into what you do right now. Some may say that this will make cooking a meditative practice. Others may say it is important to spend cooking time in communication with beloved people when they are around. And both things are true. So the lesson of this is: never allow emotions like anger or stress fully control you. Don’t deny it, but live through it with awareness, being present.
