The National Bank of Georgia has announced it has gained access to one of the world’s largest and most important financial markets — China’s Interbank Bond Market (CIBM). Georgia joins a limited group of central banks permitted to operate in the market.

There is single reason for such “diversification” – to prepare country for existence under sanctions a-la Iran, with complete detachment from the US and EU finances, and some tricks like crypto and yuan as workarounds.

But to GD I can remind that if you don’t follow orders from Mordor and return to path of EU membership, you don’t need to use this financial workarounds and financial brainf*ckery.
